当社「AISC」社員が、IEEEの国際会議「COMPSAC 2024」に登壇

当社「AISC」（Advanced Innovation Strategy Center）所属のAaron Bramson（アーロン・ブラムソン）と三田 匡能が、7月2~4日に大阪市で開かれる国際会議「COMPSAC 2024」内の「SSMLS 2024」に登壇いたしますので、お知らせいたします。

「Explicable Machine Learning Models Using Rich Geospatial Data」
（和訳：地理空間データを使用した説明可能な機械学習モデル）

Principal Researcher

Aaron Bramson（アーロン・ブラムソン）

Graduated with a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2012 after completing a M.S. in Mathematics in 2004. Worked as an M.B.A. instructor at the Rotman School of Management at Toronto University from 2010 to 2011. Before joining GA worked at the RIKEN Brain Science Institute in Japan, Sandia Laboratories in the US, the Department of General Economics of Ghent University of Belgium, and multiple consulting projects worldwide under his own company, Complexity Research Corporation. Research focus is the multiple aspects of complexity science: theory, application, model construction, and analytical methodology. He is in charge of research and development of several projects within the Advanced Innovation Strategy Center that integrate transportation networks, geospatial data, simulated flows, scoring/matching, and estimation.

2004年、ミシガン大学で、数学の修士号を取得し、2012年に哲学と政治学の博士号を取得。2010年から2011年までトロント大学ロットマンスクール・オブ・マネジメントにてMBAの講師に従事。その後、日本の理化学研究所脳科学総合研究センター、米国のサンディア国立研究所、ベルギーのヘント大学経済学部、および自身の会社であるコンプレキシティ・リサーチ・コーポレーションの下で世界中の複数のコンサルティングプロジェクトに従事。研究では、多角的に複雑系科学に焦点をあて、理論、応用、モデル構築、分析方法論に取り組み、現在では、AISCにて、交通ネットワーク、地理空間データ、シミュレーションフロー、スコアリング/マッチング、積算などを統合しながら、複数のプロジェクトの研究開発を担当。

三田 匡能

立教大学経済学部卒業。大学時代は計量経済学を専攻し、過疎対策の効果を推定する研究を行っていた。在学中に統計学や機械学習に強い興味を持ち、ビジネスに活用したいと考え2019年に新卒入社。入社後は中古マンション価格予測AI、中古マンション賃料予測AI、営業担当者の配置最適化AIの研究などに従事。

「IEEE COMPSAC 2020」について

「IEEE COMPSAC」は、IEEE（米国電気電子学会）内に設置されているテクニカルソサイエティ「IEEE Computer Society」による、コンピューターソフトウェア分野の主要な国際会議。「COMPSAC 2024」（The 48th IEEE International Conference on Computers, Software, and Applications）は、「“Digital Development for a Better Future.」（より良い未来のためのデジタル開発）」をテーマとしています。

「SSMLS2024」について

「COMPSAC 2024」に伴って開催される「SSML 2024」（The 19th IEEE International Workshop on Smart and Sustainable Mobility and Logistics in Smart Cities）は、スマート シティにおけるスマートで持続可能なモビリティとロジスティクスを向上するための研究開発について発表・議論するワークショップです。
