沖縄県 福地組連携「iU サタデーハッカソン」最優秀企画選出について
学校法人 電子学園 ｉＵ 情報経営イノベーション専門職大学iU（東京都墨田区、学長 中村 伊知哉、https://www.i-u.ac.jp/）は、沖縄県嘉手納町の建設業「株式会社福地組」と連携、同社が保有する沖縄県の商業ビルのリノベーション企画を開発する、iUの学生を対象としたハッカソンを開催し、最優秀チームを選出しました。
iUは「就職率0％・起業率100％」をテーマに、「学生全員起業」を目標とし、「ビジネス・ICT・グローバルコミュニケーション」の知識・スキルを身につけるカリキュラムを展開しております。
なかでも、本学の学びの中核となる必修科目「イノベーションプロジェクト（通称：イノプロ）」は、120名以上のゲスト講師を招聘、ビジネストレンドを体感しながら、学生全員が起業プランを企画するアクティブ形式の科目です。

今回は、沖縄県の建設業「福地組」さまをお招きし、建設業の課題を解決しながら、福地組の事業を5年で倍増させるビジネスプランを企画、提案しました。
高校生チームも特別参加し、合計11チームが最終プレゼンに臨み、最優秀企画を選出しました。

「今回発表した、建築資材のシェア買いプラットフォーム『築シェア』は、建築資材の大高騰という課題を解決することを目指したアイデアです。既に多くの人に支持されているシェア買いの概念と、資材管理業務をDXするための自動倉庫というコンセプトを組み合わせることで生まれました。建築業界で、現役で活躍する審査員の方々から、着目した課題とその解決策をご評価いただけて大変嬉しいです。今回の経験を、今後の事業アイデア作りに活かしていきたいと思います。」

Selection of Excellence Award winners at iU Saturday Hackathon held in cooperation with Okinawa’s FUKUCHIGUMI Inc.
iU (Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President: Ichiya Nakamura; http://www.i-u.ac.jp) recently held a hackathon for iU students to develop a commercial building renovation plan belonging to co-organizer FUKUCHIGUMI Inc., a construction company from Kadena, Okinawa Prefecture, and one of the participating teams was selected as winners of the Excellence Award.
Based on a theme of achieving a 0% employment rate but 100% business startup rate, the aim is to ensure that all students start their own business, and the curriculum helps students to acquire knowledge and skills in business, ICT, and global communication.
The required subject Innovation Projects (aka “Inno Pro”), which forms the core of learning at iU, is an active subject in which all students devise plans to start their own business while experiencing business trends in person, with more than 120 guest lecturers invited.
As part of Inno Pro, the Saturday Hackathon was held for 4th-year students, and one of the teams was selected as winners of the Excellence Award. An overview of the Saturday Hackathon can also be found on the Inno Pro website (https://iuinnovation.jp/).

Okinawa-based construction company FUKUCHIGUMI was invited to this event, and participants devised and proposed business plans to double FUKUCHIGUMI’s business over a 5-year period while resolving issues facing the construction industry.
Senior high school student teams were also specially invited, with a total of 11 teams giving final presentations and one of these teams ultimately being selected as winners of the Excellence Award.

“The ‘Chiku-share’ construction material share-buying platform we proposed is an idea aimed at resolving the issue of soaring prices affecting construction materials. We came up with this idea by combining the concept of share-buying, which is already supported by many people, with the concept of an automatic warehouse to digitally transform the management of materials. We were really happy to hear the judges from the construction industry evaluate praise our focus on this issue and our solution strategy. We want to put this experience to good use in future business idea creation.”
